The grants we award our community groups go on to help them fund their projects, meet their goals, travel, and much more. We are committed to promoting and supporting these efforts. ​OCC Architecture Club

 

Every Spring semester, the OCC Architecture Club prepares itself for a design competition that exercises their creativity, challenges their conceptual thinking, and represent their school amongst the many worthy competitors. The grants they earn through the Costa Mesa Foundation allows them the chance to fund their creative explorations. 

 

​OCC Interior Design Club

 

The OCC Interior Design Club plans to use their grant to create scholarships for students at OCC who are studying their discipline. They also hope to buy more tools and supplies for their club to utilize in and out of meetings and design charettes.

 

Adam's Elementary Presents

"The Jungle Book"

 

A play by students of Adam's Elementary School in December of 2017 was enjoyed by all. The students finished the play hoping to continue their young acting careers during their time at Adam's.

 

The Boy Scouts

 

The Boy Scouts took a camping trip to the Channel Islands in December of 2016. This troop goes out camping every month with about 3-4 major trips every year; this was one of the major ones!

 

Kiwanis Club of Costa Mesa

 

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Costa Mesa is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. This club has been in service to our community for more than 50 years.

 

KOCI Radio

 

KOCI Radio hopes to serve as both a source of the best in contemporary musical artistry and entertainment, as well as a valuable community and regional information resource. Their annual Toy Drive brought presents to children in need a chosen by the NMUSD.

 

Costa Mesa Community Run

 

Beautiful cross country/trail event through Fairview Park. The 5K and 10K Runs take place on Sunday morning through Fairview Park. This is a USATF sanctioned event; both competitive and recreational runners are welcomed.  Come out and 'Run for Fun' and support Costa Mesa Community and its students. All runners will receive a "tech fit" t-shirt and goodie bag.

 

C3 Basketball Tournament 

Presented by Avila’s El Ranchito, the C3 Basketball Tournament and Community Fair is a pillar of unity and strength in the city. This day connects civic, businesses, churches, and service agencies for a day filled with activities and resources for the whole family. C3 stands for Cops, Church, and Community, with each entity represented in the 3-on-3 tournament.
